Several Archs I've talked to on Tarq have had difficulties experimenting since the patch... is this a real problem? a Tarq problem? or just a wierd simultanious streak of bad luck?

Well, I'm on Chilastra and just after the patch I had a run bad luck, 4 out of 5 heavy harvestors combines had a crit fail during experimenting on the first day of the patch. Since then I've had about 8 successful combines. Several other crafters I've talked to had simillar problems on the first day, I had commissioned a new set of armor and the armorsmith I was working with was also complaining about a high failure rate. Thetwo days laterhe delivered my new armor and said things went alot better.

I Made 22 different Heavies today and I had 3 crit fails on Experimentation.. thats close to my average

i havent had any problems experimentating since the patch. If anything ive been getting better at it

I am back on the good side i guess. I experimented on 3 meds and 2 hvis last night no probs.

Havent seen any differnce myself. If anything exparamentation has been better for me. I had 3 amazings over 4 combines last night alone.

Havent noticed any big changes - there still seems to be "good" crafting days and "bad" crafting days. Some days I can do 6 or 7 harvestors and not see one crit fail, other days I can attempt to do one and crit fail during inital construction and again during experimentation (I normally give up when that happens and go fishing
). The same is true for all the artisan crafting I do - some days I wont even see a crit, other days is wall to wall crits.
Best way I find to avoid it is factory make everything - and I mean everything (I mean, who buys BER11's of anything anymore?). Much rather just blow one and be guaranteed of many, than risk ending up with only a fraction of what I wanted.

I wasn't able to get on the day of (or day after) the patch owing to a problem with downloading it- The download got corrupted or something twice and I had to do a full scan which promptly downloaded the patch again.
