The industrialist profession, along with miner, was taken out at the end of beta. They want to bring them back though. However for now the XP is useless.

I now have 2319 Industrialist XP.

Where did this come from and what is it for? I know about the old Industrialist profession, but that is obviously not in now...

Hmmm....

It's tied to factory use, but I have no idea how. I have 10,000 or so industrialist experience, but I can never seem to tie the experience gains to anything. It could be that it accumulates from justowning a factory (like MXPdoes whenyou place avendor), from each item you make in your factory, or a combination of both.

I think, and though I haven't tested but my experience leads me to believe this is true, that you get the XP when you use components you made in a factory to make something, possibly also in a factory.

When I used a factory to make repair tools I got a bunch, and those had optional components.

It doesn't do anything though. They just never took it out when they took out the industrialist.

Last night I was checking out my XP and I noticed something called Industrialist XP. Normally when you click on an XP it says what you need to generate more. But when you click on industrialist it just says industrialist. I have 15,450 of it.

Anyone know where this comes from? I am guessing it has something to do with factory runs, or somehow tied to Merchant tree?

Used to an Industrialist Profession but that was removed back in Beta. Me thinks they missed changing a schematic to give Architect XP.

Increased Dev communication - No
CU will balance combat - No
Most of the bugs from launch fixed - No
