Could somebody please explain the logic behind having architect experimentation based off of Artisan skills? My boyfriend is (was as he may have dropped it already) Master Architect and was going to build me a crafting station. To our surprise, he only had 6 experimentation points and could only make a 13+ station, while he has 10 points to use on any other items. I looked at his skills, and he hasd 6 points of Artisan experimentation which this seems to be based off. My question is, if experimentation on this is based off artisan skills, why cant I as a Master Artisan make a crafting station? This makes about as much sense as if I would have to be a Master droid engineer to make brandy....it's just stupid. If it is an architect item, it should be based on architect skills, otherwise make it an artisan product if you have to be a MA to experiment on the things.

It's a subversive plot by the Dev's to FORCE you to be a Master Artisian AND Architect.
With the skill points tied up in these too classes, you have to choose between being able to defend yourself (marksman or brawler abilities) or being able to sell your goods (merchant).
If you really want to experience ALL aspects of the game, you need a second account.

Simple answer is that we don't know and the DEV's haven't told us.

And it is certainly NOT our number one issue. The DE's had dev time wasted on getting all their experimentation changed and nothing else was done beyond that. I'd much rather get things fixed that hurt the profession now (factories, stack size, for a few).
