As a bounty hunter and a rebel, I must fight against extremely uneven odds when PVPing Imperials. You have decreased the value of our Carbine Tree more and more with each new patch up to its current uselessness, and yet you allow Imperials to run around with ATSTs literally in their back pockets. These ATSTs are far more powerful than any combination of Bounty Hunter moves, as well as being far more powerful than any help offered to the Rebels.

Now at this point I want you to understand that I realize the Imperials are suppose to have some kind of advantage, but allowing them the ability to abuse those advantages is uncalled for. You developers need to seriously consider my next few points before destroying anymore special BountyHunter moves.

Point 1: Imperials at beginning ranks should never be allowed to own one ATST, much less two or three of them. It simply does not make sense in the SWG. If anything, the ATST is much higher rank and should be controlling them, not the other way around. That last sentence was sarcastic humor of course : ) The ATST is an extremely powerful heavy armor vehicle and should be earned at a rank that lies atleast halfway up the Imperial rank tree. A second ATST could be obtained 3/4s of the way up the Imperial rank tree, while a third ATST could be had at the highest rank in the Imperial rank tree. They are simply too powerful of a machine to allow every novice imperial the ability to have one. Every Imperial I talk to brags about how easy it is to gain 20k in Imperial faction points. Let them earn it for once.

Point 2: The rebels currently have nothing that can take out an ATST efficiently, even in large groups. Now couple that with a handful of Imperials who all have an ATST at their disposal. I am not a Commando, but I am a firm believer that Heavy weapons specialists like Commandos, or the Light Lightning Cannon should have heavy armor damaging capabilities. Both Imperials and Rebels would have Commandos at their disposal, but atleast the Rebels would then have a fighting chance against a group of ATST handlers with a few Commandos and/or Bounty Hunters at their disposal.

Side Note: If you do not impliment those changes to help give Rebels a fighting chance against ATST users, then consider the following, extremely abusive exploits currently being used by Imperial ATST owners.

Exploit 1: When an Imperial is killed and sent to the cloning station, the ATST cons white and people are no longer able to kill it. Eventually the ATST disappears back into the Imperials data pad. This is idiotic and makes no sense what so ever. Also it prevents Rebels from atleast attempting to destroy an ATST.

Exploit 2: In order to prevent the ATST from coning white and disappearing due to its owner being sent to a cloning station, we Rebels have decided not to death blow the owner. This allows us to continue to attack his ATST and possibly destroy it while he is incapped. Whenever the Imperial realizes this, they log off while they are incapped. This makes the ATST either con white again, or disappear altogether, once again, preventing us from destroying it.

Exploit 3: Whenever Rebels are inside buildings, Imperials will spawn their ATSTs out of the blue, and inside a building that they should not be able to fit in, much less fit through the doorway. This, again, is completely idiotic and makes no sense what so ever. This tactic used by Imperials is a complete abuse of the ATST and should not be allowed. Yet, you allow it to continue.

Exploit 4: Imperials sit inside buildings to hide from the radar screens of Rebels. When Rebels pass by the building, the Imperials stay inside the building while spawning their ATSTs outside the building to immediately attack the Rebels. Another abusive use of ATSTs.

Fix suggestion notes:

First off, no ATST should be allowed inside a building that they could not normally fit through the doorway. In many instances, ATSTs can shoot through walls which should also not be allowed. It is bad enough that you allow Imperials to store then inside their data pad like a wallet, yeesh.

Second, there should be a delay timer innitiated for pulling any kind of helper out of your data pad. This would prevent people from abusing them inside buildings by spawning them outside the buildings on top of people. It simply does not make sense to allow people to store and pull out helpers from your data pad like they are a credit card. Add a 1 minute delay timer to call your helper from where ever they are at.

Third, if someone is incapped and sent to their cloning station, their helpers should still con hostile towards all enemies in the immediate area and attack the first person who attacks them after their owner is gone. They should not, for any reason, con white after their owners are gone. It does not make sense and creates an abusive tactic used by many pet owners and ATST owners.

Fourth, if someone attempts to log out during a battle that is not going well for them, in an attempt to save their own hides or their pets, put a log out timer on them. No way should people be allowed to log out to save their ATSTs just because they fear it will get destroyed while they are incapped. This is complete abuse of the system and should be stopped.

That is all I have for now, I am sure it was an eyefull. I hope you developers sincerely take my suggestions into consideration because you have alot of people using game mechanics to take advantage of PVC and PVP.

Take care,
Dullas

I don't mean to sound insensitve or uncarring for truely you seem very upset by this but exactly what has that got to do with the profession of architect?
