Thread: How much ore would you need to build the Deathstar?
The reason the empire was stronger than the rebellian was that vader has Heavy mineral extractors and yodda being small could only carry personals. Thats why the rebs have small ships and the emp have star destroyers and deathstars.....
But just how much ore would it take? 1bil?
I'm guessing billions.
oh no i just lost a couple hundred resources!
ha! i wish...
hm... a deathstar... or star destroyer... I would think that metal was the main ingrediant, not ore... and speaking of resources... why dont we have stone. You cant tell me real tatooine houses are made out of ore. They look to be made of sandstone concrete. and corellia houses look to be made on marble or cement, naboo houses look they are a mix of some kind of stone and wood.
Unless ore is stone... but if thats the case, why is it so rare. Every planet is made of rocks ![]()
Ore in RL refers to unrefined metals. So why cant we use stones or wood to build houses? why does everything have to be made of metal or unrefined metal in the game....
Ore = unprocessed minerals/metals.
In metallurgy, ore is used to refine current metals being worked by using the rock substrate to purify the metal in question. (the large mass of impure ore, 'sucks out' the minute impurities in the target metal when combined and superheated)
