Greetings all,

I was just wondering if you thought it would be beneficial to become Master Artisan prior to becoming an Archietect. I have nearly enough xp to become an archietect now but was considering going for master artisan first,as im so close.

Your thoughts?

Master Artisan doesn't really give you anything useful until you need power cores (large houses/guild halls)

Master artisian does give you all but one of the experimental optional parts needed for high functionality crafting stations. You'll still need to find or be a Novice DE for the last one though.

I just buy a couple crates of power cores, energy dristributors, EGP mods, -whatever- when I need them. No reason to become a Master Artisan just for those. They are all fairly cheap and easy to find.

Your first priority should be to max out your mining potential. I'd suggest getting at least medium mining installations and solar power up and running before going into architecture.

Master artisan are the only ones that can make the GP electronics module chips required for torches.

No chips, no naked tiki torch parties on your balcony.

I've sold a ton of torches lately. Worth it, imho. Folks tend to buy em in bulk at 1-2k ea, as they're the only light source that works currently.
