what does it require for me to put stuff UP on the walls?

like, I know a weaponsmith who has lots of guns displayed on the wall behind his vendor.....but I can't do anything like that....is it a Merchant thing? or what am I missing....when I 'drop' a weapon or the likes in a house, it literally DROPS....to the floor....and halfway thru the floor usually....and there's no option to do anything but spin it and move it forward and backward....

....hell, I have problems with normal item movement in houses.....sometimes they just won't do ANYTHING unless I pick them up and set them down in a completely different location, despite the first location being no different in any recognizable way.....

This question has been asked an answered many, many times on this board. Take a minutes and look, you can't miss them

A quick answer, use stairs to elevate items then push them into position using /move commands

bah, I'm too lazy to bother with all that....I just want to get a secondary screen to set up my items for decoration.....waiting on the radials and then hoping it actually does anything is so **edit**....
