Ok, old procedure:

Choose destroy, get told what needs to be done, do it, choose destroy, possibly twice.

New Procedure:

Choose destroy, get a dialog that tells you what needs to be done (I prefer the system message, but I guess if you are being spammed with system messages), do it , choose destroy, type is a special code.

I find the typing in of a code to be really silly, why not stick with the old method with the confirmation?

Silly and annoying.

I agree its dumb but probably enough people have destroyed there stuff with out reading that spam message then sent in CSR tickets or bug reports that go something like this. I totaly by accident clicked on destroy stucture the 2nd time and lost my <fill in blank here> while trying to click on pay maintance

Or I clicked on destroy stucture and it didnt re-deed just said it was destroyed. Please give me my item back.

CSR well did you make sure it had enough maintance in it to re-deed it?

Maintance I didnt see anything about maintance.

Solution make it impossible for people to accidently delete stuff. Its idiot proof.

I think the code is overkill, but I definitely prefer the dialog box that tells me what I need to do to redeed the harvester. Selecting Destroy twice is non-intuitive. There is enough "voodoo engineering" in this codebase already
