Hi. I am a new master architect on Kettenmoor, and as I am just starting out, I don't have the resources to run factory runs of the BER 13 harvesters. Thus I am ending up with mediums at BER of 8 and 9, and Heavys of 12. I am wondering if there is any market for these, and if so what ballpark they should be priced in. It seems most people are only interested in the perfect products, but I need to be able to sell some of these to afford materials to make perfect ones
Any ideas on this would be appreciated

I've been able to sell just about all of my lower BER harvesters by discounting them on the vendor. There is always someone that wants a bigger harvester but can't afford the most expensive. In fact I bought some half price BER 8 / BER9 mediums yesterday for my alt Oprolan's little mining operation on Sunrunner.

If you compare a BER10 medium to a BER12 heavy, the heavy will give you about 2k extra output a day at an additional cost of about 1.5k credits if buying power. Thats still just 0.75cpu for the marginal increase.

I currently have three vendors for my crafting supply business: one for max rated harvesters and factories, one for high rated crafting stations and tools, and a clearance rack. All of my less than perfect goods end up on the clearance vendor, I usually give pretty substantial markdowns on sub-rate harvesters. A BER12 is about 2/3 the price of aBER13, a BER11 is about1/3 the price, and I sell quite a lot of stuff from that vendor.

The fun part is trying to sell the old BER 4 meds and whatnot.

different server = different economics, you should never compare prices across servers

I know. Maybe people are just way more picky here on Sunrunner. Took weeks to sell a BER12 Flora.
Dont want these failures cluttering my Vendor, I'd rather get rid of them with some loss.

I even used to destroy them, bit of a perfectionist.

I discount quite heavily on failures, as long as I can cover the cost that is enough, but I usually stagger my discount prices, around 30k for each point lower for heavies and 15k or so for mediums. They never stay on the vendor for too long.

Bria still has a very strong harvester market. When I logged in Monday evening, I'd had 2million in sales since Sunday night. Other than a speeder and a couple crafting stations, that was all harvesters.
