Architect Archive

Hello! First let me say that I am not an architect, but I am a consumer and would just like to put in what I would like to see Architects make.

I've seen a lot of great ideas on teh board already, things that I've thought about before, lol. And I thought that i would just bring it up here to the Dev's attention (if they look).

1. New plants!! I love plants! I would love to my have own *green house* but there is only one problem.... I don't like the Large Potted plant, that thing is hideous!! The flowery one, i have at least 20 of in my home, and of course the trees. But i would like to see more flowery plants. And why not some hanging plants? Some of the houses have high ceilings and i think hanging plants would add a really nice extra dimension.

2. Furniture color!! Yes i have seen some of you mention it here! And i agree! Furniture customization would be great! Tailors can make clothing any color, why not give an architect the ability to make furniture different colors too?

3. Added furniture and accessories!! Kitchen stuff! I want a Fridge, and stove!! You can't tell me that any master chef wouldn't love to have his own kitchen? If I was still a master chef, I would definatly have my own kitch with stoves and fridges, no doubt! Throw pillows would be a nice little touch, along with the music box i saw in another post would really nice too! You know, I'm a female, and I would like to have a canopy bed...There should be at least another style of bed as there are couches and chairs. I think i've only seen two bed types, the little red ones, and the big dark ones... i'm not sure if they're dark blue or black. How about an option to have fireplace? Those braziers are just too big and take up one whole room. Skylights would also be a nice addition. More artwork, without a doubt. When you have a large home, like a Tatooine, or Nabooine, that is alot of blank wall space...Speaking of Naboo homes, there should be an option to change the wallcolor inside. I won't own a Naboo house because the walls are too dark and kinda depressing. I've seen an aquarium somewhere before.. I would like an aquarium! Finally!! the last thing i would LOVE to see done... PLEASE make it so that you can actually PUT items onto tables!!!! I have a table lamp and it is sitting in my basement because I can't put it on the table! What is the point in having something like that in game if you can't actually put it where you want it?

Ok, hehe, enough for now... I really hope you architects don't mind, but i would love to have those above items in my home! Thanks for your time!

If you get creative with existing furniture and items you can do a kitchen.
Stove: basic chest turned so the doors face the wall. Get 4 data discs to put on top for "burners" Have the person making the chest for you name it stove instead.
Fridge: get a toolchest named Fridge and turn it to face the wall. Maybe get a sword core to put down the middle to make it look like it has doors? Not the best I know, but it's something !
