Hi!
I'm new to the whole crafting side of SWG, and I have a question, that probably seems silly to some of you, but I have no clue, and everyone in game says wait till your master before you worry about it, but I want to make stuff as I go, not just grind through.
Here's my question:
I have heard that you can use experimenting to make you items, how do I do this, and second, what are the benefits?
Thanks ahead of time

Experimentation does not give you the opportunity to make anything, it gives you the opportunity to improve something you are making. At the moment the only thing Architects have a worthwhile experimentation line for is harvesters and crafting stations/tools.
You need to accumulate additional experimentation points, you get these as you progress up through the skills tree, for Architect you get them from the construction branch.

SOE published a guide to experimenting:

It covers the basics concept and is a basic how to.
