Thread: Ability to tint house lights

We need the ability to 'tint' lights in buildings....or even different rooms within the same building. I know the programming is in place because when you go into a player base you get a lovely red light...and when you go into the lift of the guild halls you get lit in blue. I've tried to get this effect using streetlamps...but they're only on at nightime and when they are the light is...ermmmm....pastel!

If architects could make 'light switches' that can be fitted to a house (or just used once on it) to change the general glow ina room to a variety of cool colours there could be a LOT more varietyin houses.

If you like this idea please sign your mark or make any constructive comments you wish (just keep it afloat for a little bit so a few people can see)

Thanks!

Thats a fun sounding idea. I like the light switch (dimmer) part.

I'mno expert, but I think lighting color works much differently than textures/colors. Something to do with emitters and particles.

Maybe it could be an optional component added when assembling a deed.

would be nice if we could color the lamps that we can craft (not just the street lamps).

DEFINITELY! I'd be satisfied with that instead of all the tinting business.... esp if they could sort the colours out so red and blue we're so weak.
