Let me just say... this was a great experience SOE is being a great host... Although the actual summit was 100% combat focused ( and it is INCREDIBLE stuff ) I did get to hang out with several Devs.. and Powers that be.. and got to talk about many issues concerning ourselves and other crafting professions..

I think this trip was a huge success in making a possitive step forward in the Communication process. There is just something about getting to discuss the issue face to face with people... I will try to get more information out as soon as i can get it approved.. but I will say... I did get a few "ahhh.. I get what you mean now.... that makes total sense... that could just work..." kind of responses

any way I am back in Washington later tomarrow and will be ready for some big time rest lol...

well... lets just say .. the fridge in the main Hang out Hotel room had nothing but bottles of varius drinks... ( its amazing how the quicker you hand certain devs drinks the more they like to talk )

Which seems to confirm they don't spend a lot of time reading the forums...

I know how Pappi acted over there. Standard diplomatic procedure more or less. So I figure you all had a pretty good time

actually I was suprised at just how much they do lurk in the forums... and they do play the game alot... I mean alot.. you may never know that guy in your guild just may be one of the devs... ( they are everywhere..)

but the forums are only so good at communicating.. you loose alot of tone and context just from the reading of forum threads.. there is nothing like face to face interaction... ( and a few drinks) to get a point across... Mainly I was able to see the areas that they were hung up on and then know what needed to be presented to clear up the confusion...

this trip was an amazing step forward in improving the communication process.. all of the devs took much time and interest grilling us about issues as we took grilling them...

I just walked in the door .. I am going to crash for i dont know how long... when i wake up I will try to post more for you ...
