Sometime ago I read a post from someone who figured out the limits for every metal type. So, for example, he figured out that the conductivity of Duralloy Steel could not go higher than 800or that only Kiriium (sp?) Steel could get a Unit Toughness of 1000.
Does anyone know where I can find this information?
Thanks.

Trythe forums at swgcraft.com, "Lunariel's Guide to Resource Caps". It's stickied in the 'General Crafting Discussion' forum.

I don't know if that's the original post you saw but I think it's the sort of info you're looking for.

The materials that architects need are not really impacted by quality limits.
We can get steel with HR, SR and UT in the high 900's. I think the same is true for ore. So that covers harvesters.
The materials for crafting stations mostly use OQ which I believe is not limited for anything. We do use a small amount of steel for MSS's which has a conductivity cap though.

Yes, the conductivity cap limits the crafting station to get the maximum rating. According to that excellent Crafting Assistent Excel sheet you pointed me to in another post, I now know the maximum Functionality Rating of a Crafting Station nowadays (not including the ones that were made a while ago) is actually 44.39 and not 44.99 as I've always believed.
So is there a point to all this? Not really, I just had to know how much more Icould improve my 43.72 stations ![]()
