Thread: Bug: Can't make a Harvesting Mechanism AT ALL

I posted this on the discussion forum, hoping the devs would see it, but I am sure it will fall to the 10th page in 5 more minutes. Hopefully someone in here has had this same problem and has fixed it:


I am currently an architect, and I can no longer make Harvesting Mechanisms. When I try to, the crafting tool endlessly displays the "Downloading the schematic from your Datapad" screen, with the moving "progress" bar.


I can create other items just fine. This happens in front of a structure crafting station or not, withboth of my 2 my structural tools,and my generic crafting tool. I would REALLY like to make an Automated Flora Farm, but I can't, and haven't been able to for the last 2 days.


Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Were you ever able to make this? I'm pretty sure it's been broken since release. Well known issue if it's the one used by the medium flora harvester.

been broken since beta 3(when I join) if not beta 2 or before

Good question. I thought I had, but I've looked through all my schematics, and I see now that nothing I have but the Automated Flora Farm takes one. So, no, I haven't.


I guess I'll have to use personal ones for now. Thanks for letting me know it isn't just me!
