I am a Master Architect and just noticed that I dont have a ballot box in my schematics.

I do have two different data terminals for some reason...anyone else have this problem?

Its kinda weird that one of the terminals looks like the ballot box but has the same requirments as the data terminal.

actually, the 2 data terminals look nothing like the actual ballot box.

make sure your standing next to a station when crafting, and also check your general crafting kit and structure kit. it will be in one or the other just cant remember which.

Check your generic items menu - not your furniture menu. The ballot box is under that catagory for some reason.

I'm not an architect, but a few friends are and I've dealt with them and seen some architect issues along the way.

Anyway, he was in my house helping me furnish it and decorate (he made stuff, I dropped it to see how it looked, and said yay or nay to more of them). Well he was using a private station he had crafted himself that he carried around with him because he would sometimes do this sort of thing. Here's what I noticed:

• Data terminals need to do something. Something that difficult to make (needs 3 master artisan components from a crate, followed by 6 of another kind of master artisan components from a crate as well. Electronic GP modules and something else) needs to actually DO something besides sit there and look pretty. It's a data terminal... make it a public datapad that stores stuff that people can get off of it. Allow homeowners to charge an access fee to use the terminal, and when people pay the fee, they have access to several dozen waypoints that they can just drag and drop to their datapads.


• Ballot box terminals don't seem to exist right now. I could be wrong since I wasn't the one looking at the list, but my friend told me they weren't on there. I don't know, maybe he just wanted to go to bed


• This may not be architect-related, but for the love of god let us raise/lower items. I'm tired of dropping on stairs to get items to the right height. I spent twenty minutes dropping holocron splinters on stairs in my house so I could get them to the right height to make it look like they were sitting on my bookcase. I'm satisfied with the result however.

Sitting in my house next to my personal crafting station with my personal structure crafting tool.

It doesnt show up on either page.

The ballot boxes were removed two or three patches ago. No explaination was given.

then why/how did i make one last night?

I've seen them (in a house of all places) and tried to start a vote and it worked.

So how do we determine who the ingame mayor is if we dont have a ballot box lol.

They are a generic itme - they show up using the weapons crafting tool - the tool you use to make crafting tools - etc.

They will not be on the structure tool at all.

I have made 2 - while they have an option to use the bank - it does not work. I rename them communication devices - since I think they are cool looking.
