Thread: Requirements for Urban Planner?
does anyone yet know what are the skill requirements to become an 'urban planner'? is it 'master architect' plus mass architect xp or maybe just 1 or two of the vertical skill lines in the architect field?
and are they planning on giving us more skill points?

The info is under "Building Up The City" and it says that UP's are "an 'elite-elite' profession only available to those few who have mastered the Architect profession."
I'd assume you just need a boatload of Architect XP to train in novice UP when it get's introduced, but if your a master Architect then it'll be dead easy if you just do regular sales till then.
This sucks though cause I maxed my archiect xp about a day after I hit master architect. Instead of pre-building a bunch of walls for prep. I am just going to stock the ore and wait so I actually get exp for it.
I don't understand why the devs put exp caps, I could understand if the cap was 999,999, but the cap is always double whatever the last skill earned was.
I don't know about that FEW part. There seems to be many Master Architects running around and they all sell PA Halls for 250K.
At least that is what I am told when I quote my price of 400K for one. ![]()

The cap was put in place during Beta because of macro mining.
When you started to macro mine, the XP did not have a cap so by the next morning you had more than enough XP for all the certs.
They also put it in to force players to start crafting to seek training so they cannot just sit there and grind.
Now you get four breaks during your grinding marathon. ![]()
