This is just wrong.
A new MINER class shouldbe prerequisite ofSurveying line. Architect should supply parts needed forbigger mining installations (like the power turbines), and the MINER should be the only one able to put together those items together tomake the big bad MINING INSTALATIONS.
I've been grinding personal miners in the game (so I can be an architect-miner, so i can then collect more resources, so I can become an armorsmith.) selling them for 900 credits a unit, and makinga descent profit. But im a miner at heart, not an architect.
Its fundamentally wrong this way. NEED A MINER CLASS!
1) Architects should build houses, vehicles, spaceships.
2) Miners should mine.

I doubt you'll find anyone to argue with you here. They took the Miner profession out during beta. Still not sure why.

Hmm, even if they added the miner class back in, architects would still have this dilemma:
1.) Pay a miner for resources at 2+ credits/resource
2.) Mine it myself for .5 credits/resource
The only way a miner class would be feasable would be to either make it the only class that can harvest, something that is too game changing to happen post beta, or they make the cost of harvesting almost nothing for miners, so that they can still make a profit from selling things cheap. In the end you have a better chance of becoming a Jedi I think.
