NAH guys jk... that title was just to get you in here... i actually got a good idea for your profession you state that once people need houses they dont need you anymore... well what if the upkeep from the houses went to you...

nice thought, but maintenance fees are the main money sink in the game right now and devs are looking for ways to get credits out of the game so I don't see it happening.

Just so you know Im a BH and this wouldnt bother me in the least.... you guys are getting screwed along with us and commandos

This has come up a few times, and isn't a completely terrible idea. There are two problems that kill it, though:

1) We would be the only class that could make money without actually doing anything. We could log off for a month and come back as millionaires. With the various decay/repair schemes we'd still have to craft something.
2) New architects would never get anywhere, since they who wouldn't have any buildings, and wouldn't be able to build any; the old ones would never go away, after all.
