Two words: "Natural disasters"

Imagine if you came home after a hard day's work and found your house burned to the ground, along with that of your neighbor, who fell asleep on his large bed while smoking.

Or what about that flash flood on Tatooine? You know deserts on earth have them, so I'd expect to see on there occassionally. BAM, a whole player city needs new basements on all medium and large houses. Luckily architects can now make the "replacement basement module" for a fraction of the cost of a new house.

Of course, this will open the way for a new elite-profession (above one branch of the politician tree perhaps?), the "Insurance Professional". With 4 branches of "Sales", "Claims Adjusting", "Underwriting", and "Assessment", this exciting new profession will give us architects a way to corner both sides of the market.

Then of course to make sure they have plenty of work, we'll need to add the "Hoodlum" profession, with branches of"Arson", "Breaking & Entering","Blackmail" and "Fencing".

With this new system of potential disasters we can add a new level of realism to the game, plus make sure architects have plenty of repeat business while forging new class-interdependence between Hoodlums and Insurance Professionals. Maybe this would be a good excuse to add new skill to Politician: "Graft"

hehe... or the newbie pilot who just couldnt control his starship.. crashing it into a PA-city.

sounds interesting, but i dont think something this big would see the light of devolpment anytime soon

Perfect! In fact I saw a poor guy the other day who's house had been half-engulfed by a giant Gungan temple spawn, including a wrecked AT-AT. People keep complaining about the spawns that end up on their house, but I say go with it! You get an infestation of Gungan temple or Krevols in your house, you need to call an exterminator or a wrecking crew. More business for me
