I finished my excel spreadsheet that helps to manage your 10 lots, your daily power requirements, daily mainenance costs, the power you are pulling in, and the resources you are getting out. It also can assist with how much of your resources you can sell and how much profit you can make.

The tool is located at http://swg.medievalweapons.net

Please post feedback or questions here, as I am willing to work on improving this tool. Thanks

The Credit Value under Step 2, why is this manual entry? Would it not be simpler to take the values of "Cost per unit" and "Amount to sell" and just times one by the other? Or did I enter something wrong, and it should be doing this all ready.

Thanks, I always like it when I procrastinate on a game tool and then someone else does the work for me One thing I've been meaning to automate though is keeping track of when my harvesters are going to next need maintenance/power deposits. I'm finally able to put in 2-3 days power and money in them sometimes, and I need to keep track of when I next have to go back to them.

I agree, a time calculator would be great.

Dhraven - Basically the "Cost per unit" should be "Selling price per unit". I've updated it on my master copy. The idea is that you put in your selling price and how much of that resource you plan on selling. I could make it automatic, but when I start telling you to sell your Neutronium Steel at 2 credits a unit....it might not be that useful

Philomorph (Dhraven too)-I'll take a look at adding in some kind of time based info. I'm not sure what my first iteration on this will be, but I'll try to keep you posted on it.

I'm working on a program where I can select an item to create and then the program tells me what ressources I need for the item.

Very cool. I was actually going to write a program like this my self. I need something new to code anyways. This is great for the meantime tho! Thanks.

I've created a version of the spreadsheet that has 50 lots. This is useful if you're the resource manager for a player association or something like it.

Again, any and all comments are welcome. Thanks

I have something quite similar, though it is customized and not very well designed. I have been expanding rapidly and am up to 30 installations now, and while the spreadsheet keeps me quite sane, it is a pain to scale up.

The primary information I am looking for in mine is cost per unit (including re-deeding, vendor costs, house maintenance but not including installation costs, travel, etc). I also have worksheet with blank daily log sheets, location planning, lists of resources to look out for, resource properties, and rough sales records.

PM me if anyone wants me to email this to them, though it will take a few minutes of excel savvy application to customize it for your needs.

Shadow_light I look forward to digging through yours and maybe transferring the cooler features to mine.

Smaller Fonts and better colors
Added INFO section to each page
