(as requested)
in case you missed it in the patch notes there is a new command
/note
this opens a window where you can type anything that is then saved in a .txt file
now either you're drooling over this (like me) or you're saying to your self .. and then?
so i'll explain
I have 1 PA hall, 2 small houses, 1 med house, and bag or two in my husbands house of premade parts not counting the bag of parts/suppplies i keep on me, plus i run 2 full time structure factories, 1 full time equip factory and 1 part time structure factory. I have a vendor in the PA hall, one in the guild only building, and 2 in the Mango Mall, .. oh yea and 1 in the Krayt Command and dont forget the bazaar!.
do you really think i know where everything is, what's cooking in which factory, and how much of anything i have on hand at any given moment, particularly when someone is sending me tells saying can i build him 20 houses or 50 med harvesters plus other tells of do you have any xx on your vendor, i get constantly?
(hint - not a rebels chance in Theed)
now with this handy little notes feature i dont have to run from building to building and factory to factory to make sure i have enough of the right stuff onhand or cooking to build orders ! i know EXACTLY where and how much of everything i have is! i can even remember what my note cards on my vendors have on the discription (usually where i have a price list) since i havent figured out the cut/paste thing.
This has to be the most kick @$$ piddly thing ever put in to this game (imho)
and in the same patch where they fixed structure factories taking crates now too.... /faint
now if only they can fix the part where the friends list looses all the info every time the server resets and i'll be peachy.

The cut and paste thing, hehe btw I like your post, I will definitely use this.
Go to options page, ctrl+O.
Go to controls.
Go to key bindings.
Go to either ui copy or chat copy, its something copy just scroll through and you'll find it.
Select bind key.
Use ctrl+z.
Repeat and find chat paste.
Rebind to ctrl+w.
Now you can copy and paste using those commands!
You can copy something out of game and use ctrl+w to paste it in game, also you can select text by dragging cursor from one end of chat input to other then use ctrl+z to copy.
Hope this helps.

It is definately useful. I haven't been able to use it yet, been too busy, but I am looking forward to it.
