Architect Archive

When you do find a spot it will let you into the Build screen look for any Lairs or NPC camps with strucures, these create no build zones untill the lair is destroyed or the camp despawns. Player camps also create no build area untill the camp is removed. You'll see this as yellow/black lines in the build view.

I've found that when you get the message "Cannot Build in your Current State", if you sit down, stand up without moving, you should be able to place the deed if you're far enough away from a City or NPC building.

Also keep in mind that if you get the overhead placement screen, but it's filled with yellow hash-marks, you're too close to a building or landmark feature and need to move.

Its just silly how gross they look. SERIOUSLY!!! Go look at a naboo house or even a tatoo house. Corellia houses look the same as a generic (dunno if they are bugged or what). Might as well build a generic house since they are so similiar.

I am located in Tyrenna, Correllia and just bought a small house deed. I wonder really far from town to place my house but it says i cant build there or I cant build in my current state. I have tried to place it everywhere but it wont work. Maybe an architect can tell help me or a tyrenian architect can give me a good location.

"I cant build in my current state"

This message means you need to stand still... If you're not standing still, in combat, sampling for resource, etc.. you'll get that message. Stop, stand perfectly still for a bit, then try to place the house. If you get the message "cannot build here"... then you're too close to an NPC town (you have to be anywhere from 700 meters to 1400 meters away from NPC cities and themepark areas).
