Thread: What to place my harvesters on for furniture crafting

I'm going to specialize in making and selling furniture. I have 6 harvesters at my disposal. I see that most schematics call for metal, sometimes steel, sometimes non ferous metal.

My question is as a furniture crafter with 6 harvesters, what should I be placing them on so I have a well rounded supply of the basic materials most of the time?

Thanks for the suggestions. On another web site I asked the same question and I was told copper. I have also read elsewhere to skip aluminum in favor of copper, I presume they were talking about quality differences, when it comes to furniture, is there a notable difference between the two?

First of all, dump all those small guys and buy some real harvesters If you're on Gorath and you can't make mediums yourself yet, buy some.

Anyway, put some on steel, some on aluminum (or copper if you can't find aluminum). Then put one harvester right on top of a scout to suck out all those hides yer gonna need. Level 2 couches and such take upwards of 120 hides per piece. I can't imagine why an ottoman takes more hides than you can get from a faamba, but hey, I guess it's really really high-quality stuff.
