I've seen flora on tables as well as bird cages. What's the command to do it?

Has to be some stairs in the same room where you are trying to place.. drop on stairs at the height you want, then move it to the spot using the command line tools (which are much faster than the radial ones).

Good luck.

u need a house with stairs in it....and then u roughly measure how high the table is....and then go stand on the stairs and make sure ur feet are at about the same height as the table....drop the item and then move it over to the table....if theres an easier way then i gues sim an idiot ...and i wish the devs would have coded a vertical axis into this freaking game so things like this would be easy....ah well....g/l

You have to drop the item on the stairs at the same height as the table then move it to the table.

If you live in a large house or a PA-Hall and the room you wish to place the piece of art in features a set of stairs or a few steps, you are lucky. Walk up the stairs to a point which levels with the tabletop, drop it and move it towards the table.

Sadly enough, this does not work with rooms next door. And if there are no stairs at all (medium and small houses), there is no solution to this. Z-axis movement has not been implemented as of today (except for the workaround described above).

How do I place an item on a table? I have a piece of art. I put it on the table and it goes to the floor below the table. Any ideas?
