Thread: Candles decaying on vendor?

Afew days back i recieved a mail from a customer saying they bought some candles off my vendor and they were burnt out (but on the vendor they show as 15 days), thought it was weird as this hasnt happened before, so last night i tested it, hand made some candles, added them to the vendor and then after 10 minutes or so withdrew them and the time was running, but on while on the vendor and not in my pack.
Anyone noticed this?

I have several candles in my house that have long passed thier stated life.. and say they have 0 days left.. and they are still burning......

Ill explain again, try it yourselves.
Make a candle and list it on your vendor, then 10 minutes later, take it off, the time would have been running while on the vendor, so if it was on the vendor longer than the candle life, it would be bought burnt out.
But if you examine it while it is listed on the vendor, it shows the original time left.
I know candles dont burn out when placed, but the time is running while its listed in the vendor, and if you dont sell a candle within its life span, it will be bought burnt out, even tho it shows when examining it on the vendor the original time as made.
Maybe its just a bug for me, but can someone else try this?

This problem exists, it's not someone's imagination. I bought a candle off a vendor in my town, that supposedly had 15 days on it, but when I took it out of my pack a few minutes later, it was burned out.

if this is the case, it's a new bug. I suggest we all /bug it in the game.

That happened to me! I discovered it myself while moving candles from one vendor to another vendor. The candles as listed on the vendor had full life left, but when pulled into my inventory they were dead. I am not sure what made this happen. I have made 2 different sets of candles.... one the first day and the next later on, but all seemed to be effected. I know there was talk the day after the patch about them decaying in factories or crates, but I thought it was addressed. Is this something else then?? I, like you, am at a loss and so are all those candles I made. I don't know what to do. I would rather have customers ask for them and then make them right there for them, than them buy a dead candle from the vendor. Then they can take their pretty lighted candle home and drop it where it will never go out as long as they don't move it!!
