When the spawn changes, there is no guarantee another one will spawn in the same area. You need to move your harvester.

When you used your mineral survey tool to find the radioactives in the first place, you followed the vein to get the highest concentration you could get, and then placed your fusion generator there.

When that specific resource goes away, you need to repeat the process, which means that you will want to redeed the fusion, and go find a new spot.

A couple of comments:

1. Before you do the redeed, check the resources that are currently under the fusion - it *may* be the case that there is a good concentration of the *new* stuff under it. However, don't let this seduce you into leaving it there without thinking about it. The redeed is dirt cheap compared to what you gain from even as little as a 5% increase in concentration. So if the *new* stuff underneath is at a crappy percentage (for example, I never set fusions on less than 70%), then just redeed it and go hunting.

2. Be aware that there are periods where there may be *NO* radioactive material on the planet you are on. You'll be able to tell that instantly by looking at your survey tool. If there isn't any, then you may need to go to another planet to get radioactives.

The other thing to bear in mind with radioactives is that not all radioactives are created equal, some are more equal than others (or something like that). So, before you move for a higher concentration, check out the PE of the radioactive, this can be done by hand but this can cause injury, so take a look on SWGCraft for the stats or ppull a sample with your Fusion if there is some already under your spot.

The formula for Energy Units is PE/500, with a minimum of 1, so PE 500 (or below) gives 1 power unit, PE 750 gives 1.5 and PE 1000 would give 2 power units. 70% of radioactive with PE of 980 gives a better power return than 90% of PE 510 for example. On Bria at least it is commo to sell radioactives at a price per power unit, rather than a price per resource unit, although not everybody seems to have grasped the concept.
