For experimentation points, as far as I know, yes anything over +20 doesn't do anything.
For assembly skill however it should help to have +25 as opposed to +20 since it doesn't come in 10 point increments.

You bet they are expensive....is why i never wear my crafting clothes out of the house.

Now a follow up question.
If I can have +25 skill points maxbut I only get 1 extra experiment point per 10 skill points then the extra 5 skill mod goes to waste correct?
The reason I'm asking is I made Master Architect shortly after the game launched but Ihad to put my game playing on hold for several months because of all the traveling my job required.
Now that it looks like I'm going to have some time to play the game again I figured to compete with my fellow Architects I had better get some skill tapes and man those suckers are expensive.

Whats the max amount of bonuses you are allowed using skill tapes?
Do those maxbonuses include using port wine, cities with exp& race bonuses?
At what level do the bonuses actually effect your exp points? IE do you get 1 more exp point for every+10 in exp tapes on your clothing?
