Thread: Is a factory that makes weapons a weapons factory or can i use my equipment factory?

i have an equipment factory and was wondering if i can use it to make weapons?

Yes. The factory you use is matched to the crafting tool that produced the schematic, ie. structure factory uses schematics from structure tool.

Putting aside the "generic crafting tool", all of the other tools / stations / factories are all matched. That is, you use a Weapon, Droid, General tool with a WDG station and put the resulting schematic in the Equipment factory. (Obviously making the names all agree was too boring. )

Chilastra: Zalle RazorPoint, Trader:Engineer (Master Architect, Master DE, Master Shipwright) - vendors just north of Theed at -3858 6181
Test Center: Rikka R'zrPoint, Master Artisan, Master Architect - showroom just south of Theed at -5370, 3139

It's been a looooong time since I've used a generic tool, but I don't they can even make schematics, can they?

Nope, generic tools can't make schematics.
