I've read posts that have concluded the Droid Detection Devicesnow work, and help Jedi avoid getting mouse bombs in their houses.
But does experimentation do anything for the DDDs? I've read a few posts that hinted at this, but no confirmation. Anyone know?

I think people are just joking about this. We've heard of no changes to droid detection devices. What would be the point? Just make the house private.

It's only furniture.
I can't believe people are actually saying it's been proven. Kind of amusing actually.

That's right. I use one of Elyssa's anti-droid Jedi protection devices, and never had a bomb droid come into my house!

I put Droid Detection Devices in every single one of my structures. I've never had a bounty hunter be able to send in a droid on me either....
Course it could be that I'm not a Jedi....go figure

Hey, my 98% "Reinforced for Wookiee Pleasure" beds have taken all kinds of abuse and no one has EVER been able to break one.
The trick to using the anti-droid Jedi protection devices is to have one on each wall of your house.
If any wall is left unprotected there is a chance that the droid can get inside the house!
Remember, you have to protect upstairs and downstairs rooms too!
I would urge Jedi everywhere to buy as many of these from me as possible.
I have plenty in stock.
Buy all you want... I'll make more.
I only use the best materials available and get great experimentation results!

Can't forget that the Jedi also must wear tin-foil wrapped around his head, tin foil on the windows, and for good measure copper wiring going from every piece of furniture into the ground to protect from the "Dev mind control rays"

Hmmm... tin-foil hats must be a tailor crafted item because I can't make 'em.

Yea it's a dropped schematic on Dagobah, about 1000m out from the Yoda house POI. Drops off of Reticulans. It's uses diatanium aluminum which is a very rare spawn.

There are many posts on the Jedi forum about Droid Detection Devices. Several of the playershave run multiples tests and have concluded they DO keep mouse bomb droids out of houses.
However, none of the Jedi posts mention getting experimented detectors. Several posts say Jedi should put at least two or more of the devices at their front door. One post even suggests getting detectors made bydifferent Architects.
Oh well. Iguess like most things in this game, there are no conclusive statements from the Devs about it. Kinda like whether high-end crafting stations actually reduce failures and increase experimentation results. All we have are player-run experiments that sorta indicate...something.

Well it looks like just an urban myth or hoax. There has never been anything said by anyone or any evidence that I've seen that gives me any reason that droid detection devices are anything but decorative.
I would like to thank whoever started this rumor.
Maybewe should start making "Increased experimentation success chairs +14%" or "Improved healing beds +8" ... and if those sell out make some "Increased experimentation success chairs +18%" and whip out some "Improved healing beds +11".
