I'm back playing with the 10 day invite and I've been making some items. I don't know if it's just a display error or maybe it's already common knowledge or just a bug.
Was making couplers and I noticed if I inserted the mineral first and the chemical second, I would get 752. But if I inserted the chemical first and the mineral second I would get 997.
Or it doesn't matter? I'm just curious if I should be watching out what order I put my materials in...Wasn't just with couplers either, pretty much everything.

The order of when you put the materials in does not impact the end result.
You might have found a display bug of some sort in the % numbers shown in the crafting tool.

I am not sure I fully understand, do you mean the numbers shown on the bottom right when you put the materials in? If so, this number just shows the relevant stats for experimentability (what a word) which in the case of couplers is OQ. It will change with the resource currently selected. It does not show the average, or sum, just the one you last used. If you select each without actually putting the resource you will see it change, it can be helpful if fir example you had a bunch of different chems you wanted to select from to use. You could select each and watch the number at the bottom right change, a quick way of knowing which resource best suits whatever you are making. But it makes no difference at the end which resource you put in first or last.
If it was not that number you are referring to, forget what I just wrote.

Hmm so what you're saying is the numbers are just a representation of the current material slot and not the total effect? I had thought it was a sum of all the materials being used, when I was making a med mineral harvester the numbers didn't seem to represent new material slot values (if that makes sense?).

IF the numbers you are referring to are those shown in the window when you start crafting and select resources to go into the various slots, yes that is exactly what I am saying. You should be able to check quite easily, open the tool, select a schematic, select a resource then compare the numbers in the bottom right corner to the value for that (those) particular stat(s) against the same stats for the resource in the details on the left. They should match exactly. If they don't then it is a display bug and you should enter a ticket or /bug it.
