ExarVaughn, you might want to add a line at the top of your sig to separate it from the rest of your messages. Otherwise, has the effect of some rather weird looking posts if people don't know that those 3 bottom lines are your sig.

I didn't attack anyone so you don't need to defend them.
It was a simple suggestion. It is defacto internet standard to differentiate a sig from the body text and that is for good reason. Its too bad these lame forums don't do it for us.
If you're joking then try using a
so we know so.

There are 2 ways really to get there Fast
LOADS AND LOADS AND LOADS OF GEMSTONE AND ORE : Grind Gungan Heads
or
100k of any metal to complete a ladder (400k in total to get 4/4/4/4) by grinding Crafting stations (also make money outta these because they go on Artisan Experimentation points AND Architect experiance
(4400 artisan = as good as your gonna get)

I hope you have some other means of raising cash, you will need it, people never want to pay what something is worth when you make it for them.
Still it is kinda fun to have a bunch of stuff you made in a house you built from scratch.

Two often forgotten ones are:
Fountains and Braziers(good XP and sell better than Gungan Heads)
Generator Turbines (Good XP and youll need them when you make factories/harvesters etc)
I know the trend is to grind, grind, grind (hell I know I did the second time around), but make some stuff along the way, Itll start getting your stuff on the marketplace, and actually give you a sense of achieving something. This is especially true if money is tight. Selling a few fountians or a factory can boost your cash flow nicely in the early days.
Hope this helps

You might just consider NOT grinding for the exp, but building and selling items. My character was created to be an architect, I knew that's what I wanted to do and the only thing I ever "ground" was structural modules for our city.
Yes, making small houses and furniture for them is a slow way to get exp, but you will be building your business as you go. I kind of wonder how many architects will leave the profession after JTL comes out, so I guard my reputation as much as possible. This means fair pricing and well stocked vendors. By the time I made Master, I already had a large repeat customer base and had made some friends who now sell me ore at reasonable prices.
One other option is to try to find a more experienced architect who will take you on as an apprentice, providing materials for you to make walls or other components for them. You get experience and they get to not worsen their carpal tunnel syndrome. Since becoming Master, I've done this for several people and it's a real win-win situation. (Except for finding space to store the completed walls, that is. But that's a different discussion.)
