Thread: My Official Why do list
- Strtuctural Modules come in crates of 100 and Wall modules in crates of 10?
- OMU's not crate?
- We expirement on Hopper size on factories and still only end up with a hopper that hold 100 items?
- My factories stop when the output hopper reaches 50/100 and it tells me to send a bug report? And I end up losing 1 item because of the factory goof. Put enough resources in for 1000 items - factory stops at 50/100 - empty hopper again and you end up with 999 units instead of 100.
- You never respond to the bug reports?
- you change the decay system not realiazing the impact on our community?
- You never actually respond to any of these posts that your paying customers make?
Thats it - I figure I have already asked 7 questions that SOE wont respond to - but I do feel better - plus I am stuck at work so posting here is the closest that I can actually get to the game.

1. Probably an attempt to slow the rate of production for architectural products. Minerals are the baseline of the server. OMU's don't crate and are a big hassle to deal with and store. Generally the nearer you are to the final result, the lower the crate size.
2. To create a storage issue and slow production.
3. To limit storage and to slow production.
4. Not fixed because...well, who really cares about the architect profession anyways.
5. It would take too long to reply to every bug report. And not every bug report is a bug or important. That's why we have customer tickets for issues and bug reporting.
6. They did consider the community, and the harm to architects was probably judged to be less than the benefit for the rest of the community.
7. Most of these forums while being discussed in hopes of attracting Dev attention are simply message boards to socialize. SOE does have forums and threads to comment on specific issues. And they do pay attention to feedback across the forums with changes proposed and implemented. As for new ideas? Who knows, perhaps they jot some of them down. One of the my suggestions on the Kettemoor forums in a thread about little changes we would add was one for player incentives for suggesting ideas to the design team that became implemented. Like say a free month of service.

hopper size experimentation affects the limit of the TOTAL NUMBER OF ITEMS you have in the factory if they were not in the crate.

- I sit at work posting in the forums?
- Women look at me funny when I dont tell them I play SWG?
Here is my list of a few things I am thankful for:
- I am thankful that the crafting system in SWG is a heck of a lot better than EQ2.
- I am thankful that when I am at work - I am the boss.

- I am thankful for the women that dont look at me funny.
- I am thankful my puppies are finally housebroken.
- I am thankful that no one has one-star'd this post.
Have fun -

1) 1 wall = 10 structural modules, therefore 1 crate of walls = 100 structural modules.
2) OMU's use a special transparent polymer crate that holds 1 OMU.
3) You experiment on furniture, too, but it doesn't make a difference either.
4) This was (supposedly) fixed.
6) I'm sure they did realize it. They do what they think is best for the game as a whole. Not all of these decisions are popular.
7) These forums are mostly social. I won't say that they never look, but it's just not realistic to expect them to view every thread in every section of the forums. When they want specific feedback, they post focus threads asking for it.

1. Star Wars fans are seen as geeks and thus socially inept in every other way.
2. Your company does not monitor web usage by employees.
3. The facelift didn't work well.
