Much to my disappointment, some of the new and interesting items coming off of Kasssyk (sp?) automatically stack together such as broken bottles, potions, human remains that would have been perfect for my dungeon. They cannot be pulled apart afterwards. I am assuming that like resources, they will stack together when placed in a house. So be careful with those pretty new books too, they fall under the same catergory.
Who would we have to beg and bribe to get the ability to use these items to actually decorate with, and not autostack?

Cheers for that info. I was given my first potion and book the other day, and have one more of each in my inventory. Had I not known, I'd have put it all in my inventory to decorate and then... /eek.

What I hate are the people that sell the single units for one price and the stacked units for a higher price based on how many are in the stack.
This wouldn't be such a bad thing if the "split" option was enabled on them. Otherwise the only difference between a single unit and a stack of 3 is that little number beside it in your inventory.
There should also be an option to disable 'auto stack' inside of houses.

I agree. Those bottles make such neat decor items... *sigh*

I noticed the books etc have colour variations so I guess the best work around is to use differing types if placed close together as I fear many will die holding their breath for a fix

the tomes are cool, but what point do they have, just more junk to drop off of random NPC.

You would prefer CDEF pistols and broken datapads?

YES!!! But make the CDEF pistol stackable too. That way we can walk around with a CDEF Vulcan...

For the next expansion, they'll allow your character to learn magic spells.
