I placed my house (Tatooine, small) about 10 days ago. When I placed it, I wanted the entrance facing East or South and instead it faces North. Is there some way to turn my house around? Is there some way for an architect to do so if I can't?

The only way for you to fix this is to destroy the structure and reclaim the deed.

Then, when you replace it, click the right mouse button to rotate it before you click the left mouse button to place it.

When it gives you the overhead house placement map, right-click to rotate the structure before you left-click to place it. Unfortunately, there's no way to rotate it after it's placed, so you'll have to "Destroy Structure" and make sure there's enough in the maintenance pool (800cr, I believe) to reclaim the deed. You can then re-place the house and rotate it as you like. Good luck!

But how do I know which side has the entrance when I'm in the overhead view? The wireframe of the house looked to me like it was facing the right direction when I placed it the first time.

Practice is the only way really to know the right direction. I am used to the wireframe of the houses now to get the right direction.

When you are in the placement window, north is supposed to be always at the top of the screen.
