Am I missing something here? From what I understand about factories (at least in real life), they're there so that you can build a LOT of an item FAST.


Yet my factory in SWG is pretty **edit** slow. Slower than doing it by hand.

Its like a harvester. You can sample faster than a harvester by hand but you can't do it while you are offline. Also a factory allows you to make a top notch experimented product and not worry about getting great experiments on the next item.

also eliminates any chance of a crit failure..... well, when they're working. right now its like crit failing on everything

Heh, yeah. Factories don't critically fail but they durn sure will eat an item everynow and then just to be mean!
