Thread: Factory Woes; stopping at zero
I know that I may be missing something simple but myEquipment Facotry keep stopping at zero items. I did of course check all of the obvious: 1) Resources Check, 2) Power Check, 3) Maintenance Fee Check, 4) Schematic Check, 5) Clicking on Start Manufacturing Check.
This happens to me about 80% of the time and the few times my factory does work it have yet to build all 100 items. Why?
This happened to me today, I forgot about the output hopper 100 limit and put in enough res for 200 bricks, after 100 it stopped, after I emptied it I couldn't start up again.
Trying to figure out how to fix it, might end up redeeding.
2 bugs and work arounds to them
first bug , Factories only work for 100 items made. after that the only way to get it working again is to redeed and place it down again.
second bug , power core schematics wont work unless you put the resources needed in the order the Schematic asks for it. if your going over 100 items made you need to read the first bug again.
knowing those you "can" get factories working with a bit more cost and headache , just remember if you have a factory around your house and there are other houses around if you Reeded your risking losing the spot for your factory. after i redeeded my factory the first time i couldnt place it back at the same spot and now i have to find a empty spot some place else everytime i need to redeed.
I'm having the same problem with the factory stopping and making zero items enve though it still uses up the resources for one item. It appears redeeding the factory is the only fix to the problem I could find. Gets expensive haveing to pay 2500c every 100 items you make to redeed the factory. Not to mention the lost resources on the item it doesn't make. I lost all the materials for a wall module, I wasn't very happy with that one...

There is a 20+ page thread on the discussion forum about this very bug. Don't you people ever get out? ![]()
Holocron posted yesterday that they had replicated the bug in house but were still working on a fix. That means it may be fixed in the Tuesday morning update but I would bet Wednesday.
And the reason to make wall modules in a factory is because factorys don't crit fail (at least they don't when this bug is fixed).
