Thread: Using stairs to set item height

I have a question for the house experts. I recently upgraded my Furniture shop to a medium house. I display everything I sell with the amount in the name to make browsing easier. Anyway, here is my question:

I have the Medium Tattooine House, I don't remember seeing a style but basically it has a skinny entryway that runs left from door and opens into a medium sized room. In the next room it's large with a kind of sunken pit, looks like a small empty pool, some doors to basement, and a huge set of stairs.

I'm trying to place items on the tables in that first room but it doesn't seem to want to cross that invisible barrier from large room to entry room. Has anyone else had this problem and if so do you know of a fix?

There isn't one, sorry. The way houses are made (and all structures I believe) is with a system of rooms. You can see the different rooms by turning on your personal light, light won't go through to another room.

Sorry, I have no idea why they did this, but thats the way it is.

Maybe it's to lighten the load on graphics somehow, oh well.

Thanks for the help!
