I'd like to make crates of FANs and Clamps with a factory...

Can someone tell me, how many lots does a factory take? and what should I expect to pay for one?

Any non architect factory takes up only 1 lot. Price will vary by server, best bet is to ask for one on you Server board. Or ask your friendly neighborhood archectect what they charge.

Personally, I ask 55k. All factories, except Structure Factory, take 1 lot (as stated above).

I believe you'll need an equipment factory for what you're looking to produce.
