Thread: My First Guild Hall

I've only been a MA for about a month now. I was kept busy with houses, factories and furniture the first couple of weeks. And then, I got an order for a guild hall.

I made it and passed the deed on to the buyer.

Last night, I made the trip to see it in the new city in which it sits.

I think only a fellow architect could understand how amazed I was as I stood there looking at it. Out of all those structure modules and wall sections etc, there stood the most beautiful and amazing generic guild hall a person could ever wish for.

Some might say "N00B MA" - but what a natural high.

Anyone else experience something like this when first starting out?

Congrats.

I think most of us understand the feeling. The first big building is a memorable one. And theres nothing like looking up at a City hall that you built.

What you're experiencing is "pride," Ravenn, and there's nothing wrong with it! Everyone in SWG finds their niche but Architects do it for the community. We scour the galaxy for resources, drop our harvies, and keep our factories running for that sheer moment when we can say, "I built that!"

Keep up the good work, Ravenn. Good to hear that you enjoy what you're doing.

LMAO @ the screaming "I built this"

Nice to know I am not losing the plot here, and others feel the same.

Gods I love this profession.

Aye the "I built this" feeling is the best

now wouldn't it be wonderful if we could have "creator: <name>" on structures *dreams on*

It is truly a work of pride to look at what you have built.

Remember you can build 1000 bridges and you are known as a bridge builder but

Wow well done

I was also very proud when I made my first city hall The person who ordered it never came to collect it but thankfully someone else bought it I acidently deleted the E-Mail so I do not now know where to look for it to admire my work

It would be nice if you could see the name of architect when you examin a building

Two thumbs up to the architect's name being displayed on examine of building. Give us some respect.

It is a shame that there is not a suggestions forum where you could put ideas
