Thread: Help Me Plz With Stupid Arch Crafting lol
Don't mean to sound obvious, but have you achieved status as Master Artisan? I only ask because those components can only be crafted by Master Artisans.
I remember how ticked I was when I achieved Master Architect and didn't bother with completing Artisan. Afterall, all one needs in Artisan is the Engineering tree, right? I quickly realized that I was without a lot of valuable components which are needed for various deeds, etc. So I ended up grinding Artisan as well.
The only other option would be to subcontract those parts out to a Master Artisan if you're not really wanting to grind a new prof. The benefit to going Master Artisan is that you can make your own Swoops (which have been flying off my vendors since CU).
Hope this helps.
As stated previously, you need to be a Master Artisan to build those two parts. I would do a factory run of low-quality Power Conditioners andEnergy Distrbutors (in an Equipment Factory) and Generator Turbines and then a factory run of Power Cores, since you may be called upon someday tocraft a civic building, and many of those require multiple Power Cores with the same serial number. Since quality doesn't matter for Power Cores, use junk resources.
While you're at it, craft yourself better tools. Specialized Crafting Tools, with the use of high Conductivity metal, can approach a Tool Effectiveness of 15. Crafting Stations, with ALL optional parts, built with high quality materials, can approach a Functionality Rating of 45. You will need the help of a Droid Engineer for the "optional" Droid Storage Compartments use in high-quality Crafting Stations, either to sell you crates of them, or to sell you a manufacturing schematic to make them yourself in an Equipment Factory. If you do the latter, as I did, get some metal with very high Conductivity and Overall Quality and give the Droid Engineer 23 units of it (the amount necessary to make a single compartment and therefore the schematic) and instruct him to maximize the Experimental Effectiveness of the manufacturing schematic.
This should improve your efforts at experimentation.
