I am not really new to the game, but have been away for quite some time, and as such, have just recently gotten my char to an Elite Profession (Swordsman, obviously). Now, I have enough xp, I have enough skills, I can't find anywhere else that I am supposed to have anything else to get this, but I cannot find how to become a Novice Swordsman. This may seem a stupid and trivial thing, but for the life of me, I walk up to a trainer, and they can't do it. Well, I'm not given the option anyways...

I don't want to have to rely on running around to find someone who is a higher level than me in the same profession, and asking them to train me. I think that's retarded, and we shouldn't have to do it. But anyways, if someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hehe I was a little confused first too. You need to find an npc swordsman trainer, not a bralwer trainer to teach you novice swordsman. Try these page here to find the trainer near you - hehe that sounded like a commercail. *Ahem, anyway http://swg.stratics.com/content/gameplay/atlas/trainers.php?id=390

You may also wanna check some of the guides or other info on that site. Had some good stuff that helped me concerning macros and even pvp tips for melee fighters.

Anyway good luck

I'd recommend using lub oil for your chemical. Lub oil does not have the stats that matter so you can use any quality and not worry about it.

You do need to get great success or better in your experiments. So if you had some bad luck and got a poor experiment result or two then that would give you lower thanmaximum BER.

Pawlin:

This is the perfect answer by far, and you provide it in a post at least twice a week. By doing this you cause me to ask the question...Do you have this saved in a text file somewhere and copy and paste everytime someone has this question?

Just curious...

No it wasn't a macro or canned answer. But now it is a macro.

Lube oil is the number 1piece of knowledge that you most often get taught to you when learning architect.
