Saw some blue street lamps that were outside a guildhall (i think it was a guild hall) and at night they just made it look fantastic.

I put my guildhall up for my home and went to put red street lamps outside......no drop option. Only an option to drop inside.

If this matters, I do have zoning rights to the town I'm in.

I tried going inside the guildhall and "/move forward" through the wall to put them outside.....the devs had thought of that apparently and it didnt work.

So, how do I put street lamps outside on my guildhall steps???

I read the FAQ, didnt see this covered.

I APOLOGIZE if this post has been made 69,000,000 times. I didnt seach past the first page for it.

Sadly enough, Elyssa is correct. Any territory outside your front door is considered civic property. Your Mayor is the only one who can drop them. The Street Lamps would be considered city decorations and the size of your city determines the amount of decorations that can be displayed.

You might just ask the Mayor of your city if s/he would be willing to drop them for you.
