Good luck!

You can probably get better advice over on the tailor forum, but I'll tell you what I know about these.

The "crafter's apron" schematic is actually the same schematic for several different aprons. It's not until you learn the schematic(or possibly when you craft your first apron, I'm not sure which) that you discover which apron you have the schematic for.

It's a limited use schematic so, regardless of which apron you wind up with, your best bet to make a nice profit from the schematic is to get as many identical components as you can so that you can make several small factory runs. This is notoriously difficult to do since the aprons require special looted components and factory runs require that all looted components have the same serial numbers.

The apron does provide additional experimentation points. That I can remember off the top of my head there are at least 3 aprons: weaponsmith, armorsmith, and chef. I know there are others as well, but I can't recall which professions they're tied to. In any event, each apron provides an experimentation bonus and an assembly bonus to its specific profession. As far as I know, BE tissues will not work with these aprons. I'm sure you can probably place a piece of enhanced synthetic cloth in the apron, but I don't think the bonus will stick.

I hope that helps! Good luck!

I don't see why you would really want to put enhanced cloth into these aprons.

The apron will give +5 to experimentation and assembly for whatever crafting profession its for. Architect, tailor, doctor or chef.

Keep in mind that it takes +10 experimentation to get 1 extra exp point.

Using BE-enhanced tissues for the synthcloth components do work in crafter's aprons. When they first came out, I remember seeing a "doctor special" one where the tailor included the +wound healing tissues, and they ended up +5 med experiment / +5 med assembly / + {whatever} wound treatment.

Although with the CU changes to doctors, I don't know if that's really that viable anymore (or even if the wound treatment tissues are still craftable by BEs).

The other apron varients really don't need enhancements. Most crafter's usually keep their "crafting suits" in a safe place (either in their home or in a storage droid) and only use them when actually making items. Zero condition clothes are still wearable (and retain their bonuses), but there's always that chance that'll change, and I personally try to keep these away from death decay as much as possible.

Hi all, can someone please help me with this;

I am master artisan, master architect, master tailor with some merchant (and no i havent used respec for these)

I have been given a schematic for a crafters apron, but before i go ahead and make it i want to make sure i get it right.

Most of the components for the apron i have, i was just wondering about the synthetic cloth ?

I have a few differant cloths with wound healing and treatments etc, but cant see as these help crafters, or is it just a case of putting un-enhanced cloths in them ?

And what is the end result of this apron (do u get experement points etc)?

thanks for your help.

If I heard correctly BE's can make surveying tissue that can be placed into cloth by a tailor now, well I would have imagined that would be the ideal tissue to add value to the final crafted apron

I know I would buy one with additional surveying points in it over one without

as for the actual crafting of the apron the limited use schematic provides the profession specific stats only thing that varies is number of sockets& whatever colour you choose for the apron

I wouldn't survey in my crafting suit, actually. If I needed to, I would add surveying points to a defensively-oriented combat suit.

How much can be added to survey with these tissue's?

I bought a pair of pants with +17 survey recently. I don't know what the max is or what they can do with an apron.

However, I read in the tailor forum that the survey BE tissue mod isn't currently doing anything.
