There's actually a 4th home type that you forgot. It's the generic model. All the planet specific models can only be built on their respective planets, but the generic model can be built anywhere.

On another note, the Generic models are almost identical to the Corellian designs.

Is there only 3 styles of houses? Not size but, Tatooine, Naboo and Corellia? How does placement work... I've only seen Tatooine houses on Tatooine and Naboo houses on Naboo but, what about other places like Talus? Do you get to choose your home for those other planets? Could I put a Naboo style house on Tatooine? Just some things I'm wondering about because I'm about ready to buy a house and set up shop, thanks.

Far as I know you can only put a Naboo house on Naboo, Tat house on Tatooine, etc. There is another type of house called a Generic Planet House. I believe that you can use that on Naboo, Tatooine, or Corellia.

As to whether you can place on planets other than the BIG 3, don't believe so but haven't tested to see.

Placement of a house is fairly simply, and a big pain in the bottom. :b

Just walk to the location you want, and select the "use" option off the radial menu when you click on the deed. If you are in an area that allows the house, an overhead view map will appear onscreen. Your mouse cursor will turn intoa little house. You move the house about the map till it turns green. Click and ta-dah ! Your new home is built by autobots or whatever. Unfortunately, the overhead map will show up with nary a spot that will turngreen. There is also a limit how close you can place your house to a city - which is further out than the message "you are leaving city xyz" . Often you will get the message "structure is not allowed" with no idea what the problem is.

Best bet for a painless house building is a flat, open area in the middle of nowhere. I've heard that if enough players build in the same area you can become a city that shows up on the main map. This is another good reason to build in a flat, open area - hard to find contiguous plots inhilly terrain.

Good Luck and Happy Building.
