I was just thinking ... why does an architect pay maintenance at all? You would think if I can build the house, I sure as heck can fix it. Or give us a repair tool or something. It seems stupid people can repair blasters and droids, but we cant fix a leaky sink or what not. And what makes a merchant able to have lower maintenance at all?

The maintenace is fine, we have to pay something i think. Hell i make alot of money, got to spend it somewhere.

i agree fully i think and totaly feel architects are hated by devs we cant do missions and missions are the only way to make money from the game and not from players. why cant they throw us a bone and let us sell the game our goods cause ppl sure as hell dont support our maint costs aka we want a freakin med house for 30k i say f them err f = forget not the other thing

If u can't pay maintenace, u have too many extrators, reduce them. People want to build 30 extrators when they are still at novice, u will never be able to keep up with mainantce that way. i started off with 6 personals, when i got up to medium houses, i started replacing them with med harvesters by buying them. When i got to medium installtions, i started using other peoples lots. This was bc i was at the level where i can bring in a steady income and be able to pay the maintenace on it.

I dont have any problem with maintenance. I have 6 harvesters.I just think that there should be some money saving built intothe architect tree.

There is, it is called don't cheap yourself by selling small houses for 3k, and don't sell large houses for 50k. If u go by the vaule agreed by the architects ofyour server, u will be fine. 1 small house a day will cover the cost ofall your extrators if u sell the small house at 15k,and u can do it.

ok, selling smalls for 12k. mediums i'm not even selling due to resources ... dont assume I dont know how to sell things. What i am saying is there should be a skill which allows me to repair my own **edit** house. I dont have money issues. its stupid that i can build a gaint house, and not repair a fuggin clogged toilet ...

I think it's fine to pay maintenance as there has to be something to get money out of the economy. On the other hand, however, I do sure wish there was one place that I could track all my maintenance obligations, pay it, and/or automate it. I have 11 things I pay maintenance on and I'm worried I'll forget about one and lose it!
