Thread: Making crafting stations in a factory?
I was thinking about getting some high quality opt components and making about 20 of each kind of station in myfactory but I just wanted to verify it can be done.
Also, is it like walls where you have to end up pulling out all thecomponents
(oh and for the walls, yes I tried it with 10 idential stacks of 99 mods each - can't do 100 cause you need one out of each to make the schematic)
The trick with walls supposedly is, you make 10 crates of say 10 modules instead of 1 crate of 100. Now, you use 1 from each crate to make the schematic and then place the 10 crates along with raw material in the factory and start it up.
I haven't tried this since i just make walls by hand from crates of modules.
You can mass produce high quality crafting stations in a factory.
I have redeeded and replaced my structure factory last week as I have still doubts, tried again... but I could not make any craftion stations without extracting and placing all the subcomponents in the input hopper. Still a pain as you cannot produce more than 10 units in a run.
Beside, the artisan subcomponent parts do not suffer the same problem, the micro-sensor manufacturing extracts the sub-parts from their crates. At least it helps !
