Thread: Two Factory questions
Hi, two quick questions on using my first structure factory...
1) When making Ore Mining units, they don't appear in crates in the output, they are just single units. To make a heavy harvester, they have to be in crates, and I'm at a loss on how to get them in crates.
2) When making Manufacturing Mechanism's, I put pre-made generator turbines into the ingredient hopper, but I still get an error message stating that I'm missing the ingredient of generator turbine.
Does anyone have any suggestions to get me up and running again?
Thanks

Dont worry they are still identical eventho they dont go into crate.

The GT have to be identical.
For everyone's information when it comes to "identical" items (typically thought of as coming from a crate), and "similar" items.
SWG defines similar items as being items crafted from the same architect.
It defines identical items as being crafted from the same schematic. So, it doesn't need to be in the same crate, just the same schematic. You can whip out a schematic, craft up one crate of something - come back a week later and plug that same schematic (not a new schematic of the same item, but that very same schematic) and get a crate of identically-serialized items from the week prior - they'll be compatible.
No, I'm not positive regarding the definition of similar, I've never tested it - as I make my own architect subassemblies anyhow. I had heard it a couple times prior and just assumed - after all, why else would they put in that distinction instead of just saying, "yo - six walls go here".
It's worth a shot testing it. Any architects lurking in Wanderhome/Naboo want to craft up a wall and we can find out? I'll give the resources for it.
