Which are the stats we should work on, which components should we work on, its pretty foggy out there atm.

Actually its not foggy at all. I think its poor form for architects to share that type of information. You either know your class or you don't. /shrug It's how you stay competitive, by knowing how to outdo your competition.

Ore minining Units small/large

As of now all that effects extraction rates for mineral miners is, shocking enough, the ore and light ore mining units. For the ore mining units ive found metal with an oq and ut rating in the 700's, and a good exp roll (50+) will get ya a base rate 10 heavy or 7 medium. There ive blown the trade secret...have fun. =)

simple answer.... and i don't think its poor form to answer this.

look for the subcomponent that lists efficiency as an experimental component, then check what stats it looks at.

This is basic crafting knowledge... not trade secrets.....

Yeah, it's silly to think that by inconveniencing this one guy, or the handful who read this, that we're gonna keep prices higher, or benefit ourselve in some way. IMHO it's poor form to begrudge someone an answer to a simple question on the off chance that you might get a tiny benefit for yourself by doing so. It's like refusing to give directions to someone because he might end up some day competing with you at work, and by slowing him down you'll have an edge if that happens.

From what I have heard you need tapes (skill enhancing items that fit into clothes IIRC)to get the best rates, 11 for heavies, something huge (18?) for fusions, and even 8 for mediums, or so I hear.

My own tests have gotten me a7 medium real easy with the light ore mining unit. The 62% eff ore mining units I make have gotten me 10s on heavy harvesters, and 16 for fusion. I get 62% with a great success and 934 Unit toughness steel in all four slots, and with IIRC some crappy chem I had lying around (~300 UT). No amazing successes for me

[IIRC = if I recall correctly]

Have'nt built a harvester since patch since my weaponsmith/architech (Luvi) is basically retired but I may look for that user name and password tommorow and finish out that last row construction to reach master. Then I will see what I can come up with, this all sounds pretty interesting again.
