Thread: Could someone please post a reference?

I'd like to read the post where a DEV states that there will only be room for 6 player cities per planet. I see this bandied about quite alot and would like to see some hard proof that it was actually said by someone involved in the programming and not just an assumption made by a hysteria-prone player.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm haven't heard that but I hope it's true. If you remember the old ultima online days, navigation was next to impossible due to thousands of player houses polluting the landscape. Flame on

If you go to the TC board there are many threads on Player cities. The only condition is that your city's largest radius cannot overlap another radius of another POI or cit. That being said the largest radius you can achieve in a PC is 450m (tier V). So your question becomes how many circles (with various diameters between 300m, the smallest, and 900m the largest)can you fit on a given planet that do not overlap a POI, exisiting city or another player city. Sounds like alot more than 6. How many cities will be able to afford the 50k/week city hall maintenance though?

yep, i believe that first popped up in a thread talking about the radius and someone panicked and said well thats only like 6 per planet.......

i've never seen anything from a dev stating any other limits than radius overlaps
